Japanese Iris 'Chouseiden'

The Japanese Iris 'Chouseiden' (Hanashobu 'Chouseiden', scientific name: Iris ensata 'Chouseiden') is a cultivar of the perennial plant "Ayame" (Iris) from the Iris family and Iris genus. It is a variety of the Japanese Iris (Hanashobu, scientific name: Iris ensata var. ensata).

'Chouseiden' is an Edo type (old variety) that blooms from late May to early June. It is a medium-sized flower with a flat bloom pattern, featuring a bright white base with pinkish markings, standing out among other varieties which are typically purple or white.
