What is Red-banded lily
Red-banded lily or akasuji yamayuri (Scientific Name: Lilium auratum var. rubrovittatum) is an endemic Japanese species of bulbous lily of the family Yama yuri (mountain lily, scientific name:Lilium auratum) .
Golden-banded lily(L. auratum) has a gold band in the centre of the petals, whereas Red-banded lily(L. auratum var. rubrovittatum) has a reddish purple band instead.
