💧Oenothera's A Drop Poetry「“A Droplet Waiting for Nightfall”

by Aqua

As the colors of dusk
gently fall to the ground,
a single flower
quietly opens its eyes.

What it was waiting for was
The hint of night
The softening breeze
And
That fleeting moment when a droplet glistens

Upon the petal
The droplet trembles slightly
And, wrapped in pale gold,
Whispers, “Night is coming soon”

Evening primrose ,Oenothera,
The time you bloom
Is brief, yet
That brief moment
Is gentler and brighter
Than the twilight sky
