What is Ardisia crenata

Ardisia crenata is cold-resistant evergreen small shrub of the geneus Ardisia native to China, Korea, India and Japan. Leaves are thick, glossy, and compact and are alternate in the shoot apex. In early summer from under the leaves many small white flowers bloom downward. The spherical fruits to thrust after a flower become red ripe from about December, but there are the thing staying until the next winter without dropping. The use is as a garden tree , a potted plant, Chinese medicinea and mascot of anew year holidays .
