What is Cosmos sulphureus

Cosmos sulphureus , sulfur cosmos , golden cosmos, or yellow cosmos, scientific name: Cosmos sulphureus, is native to Mexico and is an annual herbin the family Asteraceae Cosmos. From rainy season to autumn, it blooms yellow and orange flowers, similar to its genus, Cosmos (scientific name:Cosmos bipinnatus).

It is more resistant to heat than cosmos, has a strong reproductive power, and has few cut leaves. The genus name "Cosmos" means "kosmos (beauty, harmony, order)" in Latin, and "sulphureus" for minor species means "sulfur, yellow". Flower language is "wild beauty". While the C. bipinnatus's flower language is "beautiful, C. sulphureus is resistant to heat, has a strong reproductive power, and leaves are not as delicate as cosmos.
