Japan spring flowers
What is Somei yoshino
Somei Yoshino ( Scientific name: Cerasus x yedoensis cv. Yedoensis) is a representative variety of the fallen leaf tree "Sakura " in the family Rosaceae representing Spring in Japan.
This species is a hybrid of Ooshima Zakura and Edhigan, and spread in the early years of the Meiji era from Dyeing in Tokyo (now Komagome).
The bark is black.
Before April leaves, four to five light pink five-petaled flowers are attached in a bunched inflorescence that has grown from a branch.
The flowers bloom all at once without leaves, so the flowery and gentle pink landscape fills the area with a spring atmosphere.
The cherry blossoms at the time of the splash also have a taste (probably cleaning after it will be difficult).
Autumn leaves in the fall, this is also wonderful.
