Asarum fudsinoi or commonly called as Fujino Kan-Aoi (scientific name: Asarum fudsinoi) is a kind of perennial ’ Kan-Aoi (wild ginger, scientific name: Asarum)′ of the family Aristolochiaceae,and is a unique variety of Amami Oshima Island in Japan. It grows naturally under the trees. Flowers (in fact, calyx) are larger than other wild ginger (Kan-aoi), and many spices are light green or pale yellow on the inside. It has several green shiny heart shaped leaf to the tip of a long petiole. From winter to late spring, a flower makes bloom at the base of the leaf stem. The flower has a tubular shape with three tears at the tip. The fragments are rounded. "Species fidasinoi" is a contribution to a botanist "Dr. Yorinaga Fujino". It is designated as an endangered species.
