Golden buttons (scientific name: Tanacetum vulgare) is native to Siberia and Europe and is a perennial herb of the family Asteraceae. Many yellow florets gather and bloom. The leaves are green feather-shaped compound leaves, attached in pairs, and the leaf edge has saw teeth. Because yellow florets are similar to clothes buttons, in English names are called Golden buttons. In the past it was edible as herb but because it turned out to contain harmful ingredients, it is not used as edible now and it is used for yellow dye, anthelmintic, cut flower, dried flower, garden plant and potted plant.
