Chinese flame tree

Chinese flame tree, or Ohmokugenji (scientific name: Koelreuteria bipinnata) is deciduous broad-leaved trees of the family Sapindaceae in native China. It is growing native west of central Honshu im Japan. In autumn, a yellow flower blooms horizontally in a conical inflorescence extending from a branch. The name is based on the fact that leaves are larger than Mokugenji.
